"The Sick Rose: AR Pop-up Story Book" AR App is developed and produced by HTC VIVE ORIGINALS. It is a cross-domain product with various features including puzzles, audiobooks, games, and AR. It cleverly integrates arts and humanities with technological touch.

This product includes AR App and block puzzles, which need to be used together. The content of the AR App is based on the VR animation film "The Sick Rose" and the original soundtrack produced in 2021. The production team selected six scenes and designed various interactive features, allowing users to explore and dig into the whole story.

The Sick Rose is an original story produced in Taiwan and is suitable for readers interested in art and storybooks. With a little girl as the protaganist the story would also be perfect for families with 6 to 12-year-old children. This product is supported by TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency).


The Story of The Sick Rose

This is a story taking place in an era when a mysterious virus is raging. With a magical rose, a little girl is going to travel through a city filled with indifference and crisis, just to dedicate this rose to her mother who is courageously guarding lives in the front-line hospital.

During the process, she encounters cursed demonic creatures and receives help from a tribe of discriminated mouse. The journey is bumpy and full of frustration, but hope is never lost.
